My Experiences With Different Web Hosting Providers

Over the years, I have tried many different web hosting providers. I tried free web hosting in the beginning of my online adventures, then many different shared web hosting providers and some virtual private server hosting and also dedicated server hosting.

VPS ( virtual private server ) and dedicated server hosting are the most convenient, trouble free web hosting solutions which can give you almost no downtime. The reason is server resources provided to you will not be shared with other accounts or other customers like you. But, these don’t come cheap and you probably don’t need them if you are not particularly trying to make your websites popular.

Free web hosting providers are generally not recommended to anyone because paid shared hosting is already quite cheap and nobody should mind paying a few dollars every month for shared hosting if they enjoy creating websites even a little. But still you can find good free web hosting providers. The first condition of a good free web hosting provider is, it should not be popular because the popular ones will have too many websites running on their servers resulting in poor uptime. Good free web hosting providers can be found in webmaster forums where webmasters who bought reseller web hosting may be willing to share their hosting space with other webmasters.

Paid shared hosting is the most popular type of hosting and you should not mind paying a few dollars for it. It gives your website, a kind of security. If you choose some of the popular web hosting providers, you’ll get good customer support. But, that doesn’t mean you’ll get cent percent uptime. Paid shared hosting has problems too mainly created by other accounts on the same server.

Assembling My Latest Desktop

My desktop computer had some problems going on for sometime now. Motherboard won’t recognize my old IDE hard disk. Sometimes while the computer was running, I used to connect the hard disk and it got recognized and I could use it but after rebooting, it vanished every time.

Last week, computer refused to start. It starts, fans start running, hard disk and DVD drive make sounds. All this happens for few seconds and everything stops. Most likely the culprit is either motherboard or processor. I read a lot about this problem on internet, but nothing helped. They say a faulty PCI card or RAM can be problem but I don’t have a PCI card installed in my system and I tried putting RAM in different slots but looks like its not a faulty RAM problem or a problematic DIMM slot problem either. I put RAM in a different computer and it worked fine.

Though I can get my motherboard repaired or buy a new one or buy a new processor if the processor has gone wrong, but I have thought why not go for a complete upgrade. I generally like to buy AMD processors and motherboards because I like to upgrade my desktop every few years. AMD processors and motherboards are somewhat cheaper than similarly performing Intel processors and motherboards. I plan to use parts from my old desktop in the new desktop. The parts I’ll  have to change are processor, motherboard and RAM. Budget is also a constraint. And I like to upgrade every few years so I don’t need to spend a lot on high-end processors and motherboards. And these are going to get a lot cheaper next year so why buy them now if my latest video games are still running fine on my current system. I’ll go for a cheap AM3 motherboard and AM3 processor and DDR3 RAM. My old motherboard is a AM2+ with dual core processor 2.2Ghz. I also can buy a AM3 processor and use it with my old AM2+ motherboard if motherboard is fine. I’ll sell the old DDR2 RAM if I change the motherboard also. I plan to used my old power supply glacial 550w, seagate hard disk 160gb, moserbaer dvd writer, graphics card nvidia MSI geforce 9600gt 512mb and CPU case.

Blogging Is Fun

In recent years, number of bloggers has increased rapidly. Many people have learnt making money through blogging and have become professional bloggers. Also rising is the number of SEO professionals. Blogging and SEO has become an incredibly easy way to make money and you can make huge amounts of money. I still don’t take it as a real profession or even an useful work. Its a waste of time and nothing more but you can make lots of money. Its useful only if you are a student and you are trying to meet your expenses. But, I don’t think anybody should do it for life as a means of earning livelihood. SEO has only helped increase web spam and SEO professionals have made billions of websites with false information which doesn’t help the real internet users who are looking for real and helpful information online.

I am also not sure about the future of SEO. Right now, one can make lots of money becoming a SEO professional but most likely within few years search engines will become lot smarter making SEO efforts on websites futile. Chances are SMM ( Social Media Marketing ) will take over SEO ( Search Engine Optimization ).

I am also part of this whole blogging and SEO game but I am in it for fun only. Money is not the main thing for me. Money is a side thing whereas fun is the main thing for me. This is never going to be my profession. I love playing computer games and for me, its just a different computer game full of fun.

How Online Fast Payday Loans Can Be a Great Help but Also a Great Danger

A payday loan is a small loan that is secured against the next wage of the loaner. It can be a great help when someone is in the need of urgent cash but it can also be a great danger. I have had a few friends who had to rely on online payday loans and they’ve had very mixed experiences.

About two years ago one of my best friends was in financial trouble and her only way out was to take on a payday loan. She found a website on the internet where she had to provide verification of employment and income and already the next day the loan had been transferred by direct deposit to her bank account. At the beginning of the next month, after she had got her paycheck, the repayment was withdrawn electronically. It was all very simple and she didn’t have any trouble. Through the payday loan she was able to pay off some bills and within half a year she was out of her financial low.

Just a few month later however, a different friend of mine had a very different experience. Her background was slightly more difficult as well: she had always lived on the border. Her income had always been very low and one day she just had to take a payday loan. She did however not consider the high interest rate and at the beginning of the next month she was not able to pay the loan back so she took another loan from another company to pay the first loan off. Most of the internet companies don’t check the background of their customers, which made it easy for her to take several loans at a time. She has now found a stable job with a good wage but is still struggling to pay all of her loans off.  Her example is a good warning for everyone who falls for the seemingly “easy” way to get some quick cash without thinking about it enough and considering the consequences it could have.

The one thing that I learned from my friends experiences is that payday loans are worth looking into when you need some urgent cash. At the same time however it is very important to take all risks and factors into consideration, maybe think of other possibilities to get some money first and really seeing payday loans only as a last option.
